Nick Cave tells crowd in Melbourne that a new album is "really nearly finished"
During his Melbourne's Conversations show over the weekend, Nick Cave revealed to the Australian crowd that a new Bad Seeds album is "really nearly finished".
Nick Cave delivered a mixture of music performances and Q+A's over the weekend, which, according to beat and Stack, saw Florence Welch in the audience.
According to The Music, Nick Cave revealed that a new album is a lot closer than we think, "We've really nearly finished a new record, I would say, and it's an amazing thing in my opinion. I'm very, very excited about it."
The new Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds record will follow on from 2016's Skeleton Tree.
In September 2018 Nick Cave featured on Marianne Faithfull's "The Gypsy Faerie Queen", just a couple of weeks after the passing of The Bad Seeds’ pianist Conway Savage.
