Worlds collide on the supremely poppy new single from Ten Fé
Up-and-coming pop pair Ten Fé are sharing their new single "Twist Your Arm" as our Song Of The Day.
The track is the lead single from upcoming debut album Hit The Light, and follows on from their glorious rendition of Underworld's '90s anthem "Born Slippy .NUXX".
"Twist Your Arm", produced by Ewan Pearson (Jagwar Ma, M83, The Rapture), is a loose and breezy pop belter fusing together natural tones and electronic wizardry - escapist axes twirl with rumbling basslines and punchy beats. It's effortless and infectious, infiltrating your senses and forcing you to move.
"We came to Ewan with what was basically an old, bluesy-type tune [with] slide guitars, chain-gang backing vocals, and gospel piano...” says Ten Fé's Leo Duncan. “Ewan took it in a Weatherall/Primal Scream/Screamadelica direction, which was fine by us 'cause that was why we wanted to work with him! And he preserved enough of the original vibe for it to still feel kind of rootsy."
