Underworld's dance anthem "Born Slippy .NUXX" has been reimagined into an LCD Soundsystem-esque saga by London-based duo Ten Fé.
Talking about the cover Ten Fé say: "We jammed this at our Office Xmas Party last week… and enjoyed it so much! So here she is, reborn, and recorded as a Christmas special: Underworld's 'Born Slippy'."
It's not your typical festive cover version - there's nothing jingling and nothing about Santa - but Ten Fé's expansive, dawn-bleached edition is pure joy. It brings a new brightness to the cut, which is closely linked to the drug-addled chaos of Trainspotting, yanking it from the depths of narcotic abyss and into a gleaming Shangri-La.
Ten Fé's debut album Hit The Light is out 3 February 2017 via SOME KINDA LOVE. You can pre-order now via iTunes.
