Paul Weller joins forces with Robert Plant on "Clive's Song"
Paul Weller has released "Clive’s Song", featuring Robert Plant, as the fourth track from his forthcoming album Find El Dorado.
“Clive’s Song” reflects Paul Weller's escalating fascination with the vanguard of folk and blues artists who emerged in Britain and Ireland in the 1960s and early 1970s. Clive Palmer – founding member of Incredible String Band – wrote “Clive’s Song” for Hamish Imlach, who recorded it on his 1971 album Old Rarity.
"Clive’s Song" follows the release of previous singles, "I Started A Joke" and "Lawdy Rolla" / "Pinball". The forthcoming album, Find El Dorado, features reinterpretations of songs by the likes of The Kinks, Bee Gees, Brian Protheroe, and The Flying Burrito Brothers.
Find El Dorado, will be released on 25 July, and is available to pre-order now.
