It's (not) all about the money on "Broke Down Blues", the latest single from Tempesst
London-based Australian band Tempesst are back with another slice of psych nostalgia in the shape of "Broke Down Blues".
Following on from "Tidal Wave" and "Too Slow", the Aussie band based around twins Andrea and Toma Banjanin have slowed down and mellowed out (even more) on this latest jam.
The sing-song, carefree nature of the verse removes what could be regarded as unnecessary whingeing about the lack of money from being in a band, while the soaring chorus positively celebrates in being free from - or at the very least not worrying about - the shackles of debt and obligation.
"Broke Down Blues" is out now via 0E0E and Tempesst can next be seen at a special headline show at Moth Club on 29 September.
