Lucy Rose shares skeletal new track "Floral Dresses" featuring The Staves
Lucy Rose today shares "Floral Dresses", a stripped-back new single featuring harmonies from sororal folk group The Staves.
The Tim Bidwell-produced track is Rose's debut for Communion Records, and the first for her next record - the follow up to acclaimed sophomore LP Work It Out and last December's intimate Live At Urchin Studios record.
"When I wrote 'Floral Dresses' it really reminded me about who I was, and I always think that some of the best songs are the ones which can stand on their own with just one instrument," Rose says. "The message is pretty clear and I hope other people will find comfort in it, and realise they are different but also the same as many people."
Rose also recently shared a trailer for an upcoming documentary about her DIY tour across Latin and South America last year. Watch the first trailer.
