Justin Timberlake’s comeback record, The 20/20 Experience, was released last week and broke a whole load of records for first week sales. And now it’s emerged that it’s helped the U.S music market in general.
Just last week, record sales in America were down 7.2% from that at the same point a year prior. But now, thanks to JT shifting 968,000 copies during a seven day period, the decline is now only at 5.9%.
Good thing, then, that a second part to Timberlake’s album is set to drop later this year. Read our review of the album here.
