Runnner shares new single "Get Real Sleep" and announces UK in-store performances
Los Angeles-based songwriter and producer Noah Weinman – AKA Runnner – has shared the brand new single, "Get Real Sleep", as the latest preview of his forthcoming album, A Welcome Kind of Weakness.
"I first started writing this song years ago, I was thinking a lot about 'real sleep.' We say it all the time and it’s funny to me that there’s this concept of actual sleep vs bad sleep. Sonically I wanted it to be sort of hypnotic but also a bit frantic. Like the push/pull of actively trying to sleep,” Weinman says of the new single.
In celebration of his forthcoming album, Runnner will perform at selected UK in-stores at the end of August, with dates in Kingston, London, and Bristol.
Welcome Kind of Weakness will be out on 29 August via Run For Cover Records, and is available to pre-order now.
