
James Blake is releasing a new EP this week
James Blake has teased fans that a new EP titled Before is arriving this week.
Yesterday (11 October) on socials, James Blake shared a 16-second clip of him discussing/singing some lyrics in the studio with the caption "#BeforeEP".

Posters also appeared in major cities around the world which feature a US and UK number. When the number is called, an automated voice directs people to beforeep.com (which redirects to Blake's actual site). The site features a countdown for the project, which will land on Wednesday (14 October).

The upcoming EP will be his first collection of tracks since last year's Assume Form album.
It's currently unclear if Blake's Before EP will feature any of his recent singles. Last month he released an official cover of Frank Ocean's "Godspeed", and in July he dropped "Are You Even Real?".
As well as releasing his own music, Blake recently appeared on slowthai's "feel away" alongside Mount Kimbie, and produced Flatbush Zombies' "Afterlife" track in August.
