Super Furry Animals man Gruff Rhys has announced new details of a multimedia project that combines music, film, book and app.
American Interior is, as a press release states, a “multisensory experience telling the incredible true story of John Evans”. A farmhand from Snowdonia, Evans travelled to America in 1792 to seek out a Welsh-speaking Native American tribe.
Evans was an ancestor of Rhys, with the musician releasing American Interior in his honour via Turnstile on 5 May. The film, book and app follows later that month.
