Sir Chloe announce second album, Swallow The Knife
Sir Chloe – AKA indie rock artist Dana Foote – has announced their second full-length album, Swallow The Knife, alongside the release of new single, "The Hole".
"At the time I wrote this song I was in a deep, dark, ugly place with no escape in sight.” The song was inspired by an exhibition at MASS MOCA by Taryn Simon called The Cold Hole. Sir Chloe explains: “It was a snow covered room with a deep black circular ice plunge in the middle. Museumgoers could volunteer to plunge while viewers watched as though it were a zoo exhibit. After I saw 'The Cold Hole,' I called the deep dark winters of our lives 'The Hole.'"
