Flume and Toro y Moi cover Bag Raiders' "Shooting Stars"
Flume and Toro y Moi have teamed up to cover Bag Raiders' "Shooting Stars" for triple j's Like A Version series.
For the latest instalment of triple j's Like A Version series, Flume and Toro y Moi joined forces to cover Bag Raiders' 2008 track "Shooting Stars".
Speaking about the cover choice, Flume said, "I just can't believe no one had done it yet to be honest, It's also AusMusic Month, and so we wanted to do an Australian record, and Bag Raiders are Australian."
He added, "I bough that EP when I was like 12 or something. That track in particular is just ... it's just a great hook. That lead line is just so, it's just like, the most beautiful chord and melody combo. That doesn't happen that often.
Earlier this month Flume released "Slugger 1.4 [2014 Export.WAV]" to celebrate the 10th anniversary of his debut album.
