Watch Iceland's Pascal Pinon & Sin Fang together in session
We try hard to cast our musical net far and wide as (not surprisingly) there are as many treasures beyond the seas as they are here and when good fortune brings them together right on our doorstep, it’s a sign that the gods must agree on something.
Thus when Iceland’s Sin Fang (Sindri Már Sigfússon) and Pascal Pinon (twin sisters Jófríður and Ásthildur Ákadóttir) found themselves playing together a few weeks back in London, we endeavoured to engineer a session between them – certainly two among a handful of our favourite bands from that island spearheading their country’s musical charge abroad.
The result is the splendid ‘Babies’ a track written together in the days leading up to our session and finished less than a day before we actually met them.
