Violent Femmes announce first release in 15 years
Folk-punk trio Violent Femmes have announced their first new material in 15 years in the form of a special Record Store Day EP.
They've also shared the lead single "Love Love Love Love Love". The EP was recorded on New Year’s Eve in Hobart, Tasmania following a series of well-received reunion shows.
Speaking to Rolling Stone about the release, the band's Gordon Gano said: “[we're] happy to have some new recordings for people that have loved our musi... [we] would be honored to have a few new ears hear us for the first time too.”
The HAPPY NEW YEAR EP will be released 18 April/Record Store Day exclusively on 180 gram champagne clear vinyl.
