Jessie Ware stuns with "Midnight", the lead single from her third album
Jessie Ware is back with sparkly new number "Midnight", the soulful first song from her long-awaited third record.
Ware says the track, co-written with Kiah Victoria, Jordan Thomas, and Bastian Langebaek, is "the song I've always wanted to be able to sing but perhaps didn't have the confidence until now."
The upcoming record will follow 2014's Tough Love and sees Ware working with erstwhile Maccabees members Felix and Hugo White, Kid Harpoon, Benny Blanco, and Ed Sheeran.
Ware's been far from quiet in the years since Tough Love - she's been on the Mercury Prize judging panel for two years in a row, contributed to the sound for a movie starring Game Of Thrones' Emilia Clarke, joined up with Disney, and collaborated with the likes of The Invisible, Chance The Rapper, Natalie Prass and Matthew E White (maybe), Nicki Minaj, and Cool Uncle.
