Hookworms have detailed a new single, taken from recent LP The Hum, called "Retreat".
The Leeds/Halifax band's MB (bass) says of the track:
"Similarly to [The Hum opener] The Impasse, we wanted the end of this record to be the polar opposite of the last one... 2e wanted to go out with a bang and end dead. It has this ‘race for the finish’ feeling to it."
The Hum is out now on Weird World. "Retreat" will be released 4 May, and you can pre-order it from the label's website or on iTunes.
