New Erased Tapes-signing Högni talks basketball on a new episode of Talk The Line
We sit down with Högni Egilsson, one of the most recognisable faces and voices in Icelandic music, and talk about his passion for basketball in this week's episode of Talk The Line.
A member of the legendary electronic collective Gus Gus since 2011, Egilsson has also carved out a career with the bands Hjaltalín and Gluteus Maximus - and this month he releases his his solo debut album Two Trains as the newest addition to the Erased Tapes label.
It’s not surprising that someone of his physique and height would also play sports too but Högni's a fan of an unlikely pastime for someone from Iceland: basketball. We met him on a rainy day at this year’s End of the Road festival to find out why he thinks it’s the most beautiful of all games.
In our weekly podcast Talk the Line, we meet the people we love from music, film and television to find out about their passions and obsessions. A new episode drops every Friday - catch up with the episodes you've missed or subscribe via iTunes, Stitcher, Overcast or TuneIn.
