DJ White Shadow reveals he plans to meet with Lady Gaga about ARTPOP Act II after Gucci film
DJ White Shadow, who produced Lady Gaga's 2013 album ARTPOP, has revealed that they've made plans to meet up and discuss ARTPOP Act II after she finishes filming the upcoming Gucci film in Italy.
ARTPOP was released in 2013 as the follow up to Gaga's 2011 album Born This Way, and earlier this month a petition was launched for the release of ARTPOP Act II, after DJ White Shadow told a fan to "petition Gaga on that one" after being asked if ARTPOP Act II will ever be released.
Fans have also been urging people to buy ARTPOP on iTunes as another way of petitioning for Gaga to release ARTPOP Act II, which has since gained a response from Gaga herself.
Gaga wrote earlier today (13 April), The petition to #buyARTPOPoniTunes for a volume II has inspired such a tremendous warmth in my heart. Making this album was like heart surgery, I was desperate, in pain, and poured my heart into electronic music that slammed harder than any drug I could find."
This afternoon (13 April), DJ White Shadow provided an update via Instagram, revealing that he's made plans to meet with Gaga after she returns from Italy from filming the upcoming Gucci film. He wrote, "You were heard. I talked to LG last night and she shared my incredible joy. We made a plan to get together after Italy and discuss your wishes. No promises made, but kindness and love are as strong as steel. Now is not the time to let up. Go harder. Forget the past. Think about the future. Apply positive pressure to the universe and let's make a diamond. I am so in love with you all."
