Dave Grohl and Greg Kurstin cover Ramones' "Blitzkrieg Bop" for night two of The Hanukkah Sessions
For the second night of Hanukkah, Dave Grohl and Greg Kirstin recorded a cover of Ramones' "Blitzkrieg Bop".
On Sunday (28 November) Grohl and Kurstin kicked off the second year of The Hanukkah Sessions, which sees the collaborators cover eight songs by eight different Jewish artists for each night of Hanukkah.
The duo kicked off Hanukkah 2021 with a version of Lisa Loeb's "Stay (I Missed You)", and last night (29 November) they delivered a rendition of Ramones' "Blitzkrieg Bop" for night two.
The 2020 edition of Grohl and Kurstin's The Hanukkah Sessions saw them cover songs by The Velvet Underground, Bob Dylan, Drake, Peaches, Elastica and more.
Last month Grohl released his first book The Storyteller.
