DaBaby confirms he has no problem with JoJo Siwa after releasing "Beatbox" freestyle
DaBaby has confirmed that he has no beef with JoJo Siwa after fans assumed he was calling out the 17-year-old on his recent "Beatbox" freestyle.
Last Friday (19 February) DaBaby flexed his flow on his "Beatbox" freestyle. While he did mention the likes of Stevie Wonder and T.I., fans were quick to assume he was having a dig at 17-year-old JoJo Siwa when he rapped, "Turn me up, n***** gon' see why / N****, you a bitch, JoJo Siwa (Bitch)".
While fans believed he was comparing his opposition to JoJo Siwa, DaBaby took to Twitter last night (21 February) to clarify his lyrics. He tweeted at JoJo Siwa, "my 3 year old princess is your number 1 fan. I bought her every product you have out. She think she you. Don’t let em trick you into thinking id ever have a problem with you. My word play just went over their heads. All love on my end shawty, Keep shinning!"

As the Genius lyric page for "Beatbox" shows, DaBaby was actually using the word "Siwa" as a replacement for "see why", and used JoJo as a likely reference to his real first name Jonathan, meaning the full line could be DaBaby actually saying "Jonathan see why".
JoJo Siwa hasn't yet responded to DaBaby or his "Beatbox" freestyle lyrics.
