Belfast threesome Sea Pinks are sharing new single "Yr Horoscope" as our first Song Of The Day in 2016.
"Yr Horoscope" is taken from upcoming LP Soft Days, and beckons the faraway summer with cruising surf-pop riffs and shimmering cheer-laced vocals. It's endlessly peppy, with the kind of lo-fi rumbles that The Drums and The Vaccines peddled earlier in their career, and a perfectly dishevelled grace.
Sea Pinks are Neil Brogan (ex-Girls Names, CRUISING), Steven Henry (Documenta), and Davey Agnew (Newton Forest FC).
The band's second full-length studio record Soft Days is out 8 January. It follows 2014's Dreaming Tracks.
