ARLO’s “Homecoming” is a thunderous swathe of punchy electro-pop
Premiered by Radio 1's Phil Taggart on 29 January, "Homecoming" heralds the beginning of an exciting new year for London's ARLO.
Hot on the heels of 2017’s "Safe", ARLO has already sold out his debut live show at London's Waiting Room on 28 March. The release of expansive new single "Homecoming" seems a fitting tribute to this success, pairing a powerful, practised vocal with driving percussion and massive production. His huge voice needs a thunderous backing to match, and this swathe of punchy electro-pop doesn’t disappoint.
"'Homecoming' is admission in its purest form," ARLO explains of the track's inspiration. "It's me admitting the truth to myself and promising myself to get better. It's me saying come home, we love you, we won't judge you. No one will ever love you more than your family and friends, so why not surround yourself around them?"
