Watch the cinematic visuals for TRACE's new video "Heavy Shoulders"
The slow-paced, cinematic visuals of TRACE getting through a difficult day is exactly what "Heavy Shoulders" needs. By using slomo shots and a slow pace, the track becomes entwined with the isolated atmosphere, further enhancing the beauty of the cinematic shots.
It's amazing how visuals can paint the real picture behind the track, and tell a story you would've pictured differntly; TRACE uses beautifully lit, prolonged shots to enhance the loneliness perceived throughout, and even makes a launderette look appealing.
Speedy shots used just after three minutes add an elegant urgency to the track, and certainly adds a darker layer to the seemingly-angelic noise.
