
Toulouse’s new track “Here & Now” is a soulful explosion of sound

"Here & Now" follows titanic singles "Reach Out" and "Hurtin".
The unnatural structure of the track showcases the Nigerian-born musician’s natural knack for composition, his core vocal reminiscent of both modern and vintage soulful artists such as Sam Smith and Ella Fitzgerald. As the song progresses, Toulouse gloriously loses his vision in the polyrhythm. The song acts as a muted explosion, the episodes in the track reflecting the fervency of itself whilst retaining the atmosphere of soulful, chill electronica.
