Following-on from the inspired Snakehips remix of “Warm Water”, an equally funk-fuelled take on BANKS has emerged courtesy of Jensen Sportag.
The Nashville duo have taken this track from the LA siren’s London EP in a whole new direction; where the original oozes slow-burning passion and desperation, this reworking bounces along with a new-found pace, thanks to its gyrating late-night slap-bass line and twitching rhythm.
It’s a completely different type of seduction at play – an upbeat and fun equivalent – but her trademark sultry vocal still plays its part ensuring this version of “Change” sits perfectly among the growing catalogue of brilliant BANKS reworks.
