Scottish indie-poppers Belle and Sebastian will follow frontman Stuart Murdoch’s recent film God Help The Girl by scoring a new TV show starring Matthew Perry (aka Chandler from Friends).
The Dog Thrower will be a one-off special for Sky Arts, telling the story (as the title suggests) of a “man who finds fame, then infamy, when he starts throwing his dog”. The Herald Scotland report that the show will air in May.
Meanwhile, Belle and Sebastian are currently at work on a new album – supposed inspired by Eurovision.
