Watch: The War On Drugs – Baby Missiles
As our very own Emily Mules pointed out in this month’s TLOBF podcast, it would be fairly impossible to play ‘Baby Missiles’ in any form of vehicle without wanting to go that little bit faster. The term euphoric doesn’t really quite do it justice. What’s more, it’s just one of the many highlights of The War On Drugs forthcoming second album Slave Ambient which has slowly taken over our lives these past few weeks. Did someone just say album of the year?
The ‘Baby Missiles’ video is culled and edited from The War On Drugs’ main man Adam Granduciel’s super 8 film footage. The video was directed by Labour and produced by Greencard Pictures.
The War on Drugs release Slave Ambient on August 15 via Secretly Canadian. In support of the record, they’re due to play the following dates:
September
13 – The Lexington, London
14 – The Brudenell Social Club, Leeds
15 – The Harley, Sheffield
16 – The Green Door Store, Brighton
