Watch D'Angelo recording his long-awaited new album

D’Angelo has taken almost as long to follow up 2000′s Voodoo as Guns N Roses infamously did with Chinese Democracy. The record however is now seemingly on the way, with footage of the recording sessions posted online.
His producer Russell “The Dragon” Elevado has uploaded a series of clips that show D’Angelo in the studio with bassist Pino Palladino. The instrumental clips are all pretty short in length but at least prove that the much-delayed long-player actually exists.
The Roots’ Questlove previously stated that the LP would drop during 2013, which it alas did not. Watch these clips below.
