Phil Elverum, aka Mount Eerie, has shared a new ambient recording titled "(fireworks & wind)" after yesterday's Independence Day celebrations.
"(fireworks & wind)" literally does what it says, and is a field recording of fireworks, and well, wind.
Offering an explanation to go alongside the recording, Mount Eerie wrote, "fireworks and wind recorded July 4th, 2019 from outside town. no big deal no reason for this recording no physical release the wind gradually increases."
Mount Eerie's new release is his first since last year's Now Only album.
"(fireworks & wind)" is out now. Mount Eerie plays London's EartH on 8 August. Find out more.
