wing! shares new EP reveal, "Let The Rest Go"
Bexleyheath born and raised producer wing! has shared "Let The Rest Go" as the second single from his forthcoming debut EP, MISSED IT JUST THE ONCE.
"Let The Rest Go" is an exploration into new territory by wing!, partly inspired by King Krule’s "Any God of Yours" – trying to make a track led by the drums. The aim when writing the track was to develop new creative processes, including being open to the possibility of making “one of the worst beats ever.” Instead, this became a statement of intent. “I remember looping the first section and just being obsessed with it,” says wing! “I couldn’t stop listening to this 30-second loop, so I had to keep going.”
Missed It Just The Once will be released on 12 September via Memorials of Distinction.
