Dan Snaith has returned with "Clap Your Hands" as his first solo Daphni release since 2022.

Speaking of the track Snaith says: ”This is a bit of a vibe shift from the restraint of sad piano house... i made this one for a set at Rainbow Disco Club in Japan and have been playing it everywhere ever since. i've got a whole bunch of unreleased daphni stuff ready to go and i'm pretty much letting what fans are asking me about the most decide what comes out next. it feels great to know that there are people who have heard it in my sets that are waiting for it. it's simple and intuitive - once i'd got the basic idea together the key was to just get out of the way and not overcomplicate it. just to make sure it hit hard and that the timing was right so that it keeps you waiting for new elements to come in just long enough.”

Following up his recent collaboration with Sofia Kourtesis, "Unidos", the brand new track "Clap Your Hands" marks his his first solo Daphni release since 2022 track, "Sad Piano House".

Snaith will be DJing across the summer and plays a special sold-out seven hour set at London’s FOLD on 22 November. Daphni just headlined the Glade Dome at this year’s Glastonbury and popped up across the weekend as part of Floating Points’ Sunflower Soundsystem (as well as headlining the Park Stage as Caribou). Daphni will also play a show in Bristol at Prospect in October with more DJ dates across the summer to come, as well as Caribou headlining End of the Road Festival.

"Clap Your Hands" is out now.
