Metronomy's "The Light" track is completely unrecognisable in new Kero Kero Bonito rework
Metronomy's Metronomy Forever track "The Light" has been remixed by Kero Kero Bonito, and it's barely recognisable.
"The Light", which featured on Metronomy's 2019 LP Metronomy Forever, has today received a remix by Kero Kero Bonito.
Kero Kero Bonito's fun Metronomy rework is their first release since unveiling their full Bugsnax game song "It's Bugsnax!" last month.
Remixers Kero Kero Bonito say of their take on "The Light", "Metronomy are one of the bands that defined our adolescence; we listened to Nights Out on the bus to school and went to their shows as 16 year-olds. Our nocturnal club-pop re-fix of "The Light" is informed by 2-step, pretty '00s electronica and walking home very late at night."
Although Metronomy haven't released new music since last year's Metronomy Forever LP, the group's own Oscar Cash released an eight-track LP of Metronomy Forever reworks in April, called Oscar Cash Forever.
