
Tommy WÁ signs to Dirty Hit and reissues Roadman & Folks
Ghana based, Nigerian born artist Tommy WÁ has announced his signing to Dirty Hit, and will be reissuing his 2023 release, Roadman & Folks.
"The EP is a collection of intersecting experiences of romantic longings, the art of survival and the pursuit of happiness expressed through the lives of my immediate community and me," Tommy WÀ explains. "A signing with Dirty Hit offers me the unique opportunity to make a valuable contribution through music that highlights African contemporary realities that should transcend the local scene and can inform global cultures."
Accompanying the announcement is a video for EP highlight, "YAKOYO" – a Yoruba term meaning, “come on and be filled”, that establishes the community that is all around Tommy WÁ.
