Jessie Ware wants you to play her new song when it's hot out
Jessie Ware has unveiled "Selfish Love", the second single (following "Midnight") from her upcoming third LP.
"'Selfish Love' is a track that reminds me why I enjoy singing so much," explains Ware. "Even though it’s coming at the end of the summer, I hope you play it in the heat."
The upcoming record will follow 2014's Tough Love and sees Ware working with erstwhile Maccabees members Felix and Hugo White, Kid Harpoon, Benny Blanco, and Ed Sheeran.
Ware's been far from quiet in the years since Tough Love - she's been on the Mercury Prize judging panel for two years in a row, contributed to the sound for a movie starring Game Of Thrones' Emilia Clarke, joined up with Disney, and collaborated with the likes of The Invisible, Chance The Rapper, Natalie Prass and Matthew E White (maybe), Nicki Minaj, and Cool Uncle.
