Jenny Lee Lindberg gives update on new Warpaint album
Warpaint bassist Jenny Lee Lindberg has shared an update on their new album.
Since Warpaint released their last album, Heads Up, in 2016, vocalist and guitarist Theresa Wayman went on to release her debut solo album as TT, and Lindberg teamed up with Trentemøller in August for "Try A Little".
On top of that, drummer Stella Mozgawa contributed to Josh Homme's Vols. 11 & 12 of his Desert Sessions, and last month Wayman linked up with St. Francis Hotel on "The Truth Is Dead".
Last night (8 December), Lindberg posted an update on the new Warpaint album on Instagram, writing, "Relaxing and getting prepared for day seven of studio. New WARPAINT RECORD FOLKS. ..Couldn’t be more more proud of what we’re making. Stay tuned for more updates. And maybe some music to follow."

It wasn't until last month that Warpaint started returning. As a band, they scored the podcast series Motherhacker, and have contributed a new song titled "The Brakes" for The Turning soundtrack that arrives in January 2020.
