James Blake has covered Bill Withers' "Hope She'll Be Happier" as part of the Spotify Singles series.
Ahead of releasing his Friends That Break Your Heart album next month, Blake has delivered a reimagined version of the album's lead single "Say What You Will", as well as a cover of the late Bill Withers' "Hope She'll Be Happier" for Spotify Singles.
So far Blake has released three tracks from his new album - "Famous Last Words", "Life Is Not The Same" and "Say What You Will".
Friends That Break Your Heart will follow 2019's Assume Form album, and will include collaborations with SZA, Monica Martin, JID and SwaVay.
James Blake's cover of Bill Withers' "Hope She'll Be Happier" is on Spotify now. His Friends That Break Your Heart album will be released 8 October via Polydor Records, and is available to pre-order now.
