!!! announce new EP with lead cut "Do The Dial Tone"
!!! have announced their new seven-track EP Certified Heavy Kats, and have unveiled the opening track "Do The Dial Tone".
"Do The Dial Tone" is the group's first new outing since last year's Wallop album, and arrives with an animated visual directed by Cheng-Hsu Chung.
Frontman Nic Offer says of their new single, "We thought of "Do The Dial Tone" as a KLF/Enigma-type call and response on the eve of destruction."
Offer adds of the EP, "This is us exploring the outer edges of what we do. We try a lot of different things with the hopes of coming up with something fresh by getting it wrong. How wrong did we get it this time?"
Certified Heavy Kats will feature contributions from Liars' Angus Andrew, Maria Uzor of Sink Ya Teeth, and longtime co-vocalist Meah Pace.
