One of the two recently-reformed Black Flag line-ups will record a new album this year.
One-time vocalist, Ron Reyes will team up with founding member Greg Ginn on guitar and Roberto “Robo” Valverde on drums to play the UK’s Hevy Festival this year.
Pitchfork now reveal, however, that they are also currently ”putting finishing touches on a new album”.
The second reunion, fronted by original singer Keith Morris, will consist of Chuck Dukowski, Bill Stevenson and Stephen Egerton of the Descendants and go by the shortened name of ‘Flag’.
The most famous Black Flag vocalist, Henry Rollins is not set to take part in any reunion this year.
