Universal Music have recently launched a venture they’re calling the ‘Respect the Classics’ campaign, in which they re-release a selection of classic hip-hop albums on both CD and vinyl.
Among the list of releases already confirmed are N.W.A’s Straight Outta Compton, Ice Cube’s AmeriKKKa’s Most Wanted, Eazy-E’s Eazy-Duz-It, as well as DMX’s first two albums.
Public Enemy, Lil Wayne, Eminem, Kanye West and more are also expected to get a similar treatment shortly.
