Following their recent collaborative album with The National’s Bryce Dessner, American string ensemble the Kronos Quartet have now teamed up with Pop Will Eat Itself singer Clint Mansell for the soundtrack to upcoming film Noah.
Noah is the latest movie from Darren Aronofsky, with Patti Smith featuring on the score during new track “Mercy Is”. That composition was co-written by Smith and long-term collaborator Lenny Kaye, recently airing on Mary Anne Hobbs’ BBC Radio 6 Music show.
