Korallreven reveal 'Honey Mine', say it with a mix-tape

Hints that Victoria Bergsman of Taken By Trees would be providing guest vocals on the new Korallreven single started to cling into the air shortly before the bands last single ‘The Truest Faith’ was released back in April. The thought of Bergsman’s dulcet, aching tones coupled with the luxurious dream-like pop of Korallreven was sure to be a match made in balearic heaven. And finally, after waiting patiently all summer long for it to arrive, the song in question ‘Honey Mine’ appears just as the last seeds of summer are blown into the September air.

Rather than delivering the song to the world in its singular form, Korallreven have instead smothered ‘Honey Mine’ in a bed of quilted serenity. ‘A Dream By Korallreven’ is a 22 minute mix-tape (downloadable below) that emerges the single amongst a handful of other equally serene jams.

‘Honey Mine’ is available to pre-order from Acéphale now. True to form of past Acéphale releases, the single will be available on highly limited edition 7″ of the highest quality. The single comes b/w a remix from the one and only D. Lissvik of Göteborg production duo Studio which will surely be as incredibly sublime as the original.
