Formed from the ashes of indie trio Pull Tiger Tail, schoolfriends Marcus and John’s beat heavy pop hybrid Thumpers got us all excited in February with debut single ‘Dancing’s Done’.
The London-based duo’s exhilarating live sets have proven them to be a formidable argument for the survival of British indie guitar music too – they’re an integral part right now of the genre’s adaptation and evolution.
The band release a new EP today via Transgressive and we holed up with them in a hotel room a few weeks back for a session take of the lead track ‘Unkinder (A Tougher Love)’ which you can watch above.
