Ella Eyre details forthcoming second album, everything, in time
Ella Eyre has returned with the announcement her forthcoming second studio album, everything, in time.
After a vocal surgery during lockdown forced her to literally relearn how to speak, Ella Eyre emerged with a clearer sense of self. She parted ways with her former label, took her masters, and started again. everything, in time is the result “There was a moment when I just said, ‘This doesn’t feel right – scrap it all,’” she recalls of an earlier iteration of the album.
The announcement of everything, in time follows a string of recent singles, "high on the internet", featuring Jay Prince "domino szn", "kintsugi".
Speaking of the album's release, she says: "There's been a lot of stop-start with my career. It keeps me up at night. But this album feels like something I'm really proud of. And the biggest cliches are sometimes the deepest truths: Good things come to those who wait. And even though it's taken a long time to get to this place, I'm really proud of where I'm at."
Ella Eyre has also announced four intimate shows in December, which will see her perform in Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Liverpool.
