Westerman unveils soothing new track "Waiting On Design"
Westerman is back with new track "Waiting On Design", another glimpse of his forthcoming debut album Your Hero Is Not Dead.
"Waiting On Design" follows on from last month's lead single "Think I’ll Stay", and will feature on Your Hero Is Not Dead alongside earlier singles "Blue Comanche", "Easy Money" and "Confirmation".
Westerman says of the new offering, "I was thinking about the absurdity of the self, and how nobody wants to look at themselves from the perspective of the people they hurt. What’s interesting to me about storytelling isn’t necessarily the stories themselves, but the mutual connection that comes from people’s understanding of what’s being conjured by that story."
Your Hero Is Not Dead will be Westerman's first collection of tracks since last year's Ark EP.
He recorded the LP with his close friend and producer Nathan Jenkins (A.K.A. Bullion) between Southern Portugal and London.
