Warpaint have scored the soundtrack for new podcast series Motherhacker

The score for Motherhacker is Warpaint's first new material since their 2016 album Heads Up.

Motherhacker features Carrie Coon (Fargo, The Leftovers), Alan Cumming (The Good Wife), Lucas Hedges (Boy Erased), Tavi Gevinson (founder of Rookie Magazine), Pedro Pascal (Game of Thrones, Narcos) and Alex Goldman (Co-host and producer of Gimlet’s Reply All).

Back in February, Warpaint's Jenny Lee Lindberg provided some information on their new material, stating, "You know what I would love to do because we never have - I would love to release a summer album. I would love to release something in June. It’s always been the fall or the winter and I feel like I would like to release something for the summer. So… maybe 2020."

Since Heads Up was released, Warpaint vocalist and guitarist Theresa Wayman embarked on her own solo project as TT. Back in 2015, Lindberg released her debut solo record right on!.
