The Horrors have revealed they’ll release a new record come September.
The shoegazey, formerly gothy, group will follow up 2011′s Skying with their fourth studio effort to date.
Keyboardist Tom Cowan told NME that the band were “most of the way” into writing the tracks, with “a month or so” left before recording starts.
In the sonic direction of the new release, Cowan added:
“It’s different. But I don’t really want to say anything because people will get the wrong idea. But it is different and it’s possibly our best album yet. But that’s always a matter of opinion I guess”.
