Preoccupations are back with "Espionage", the first song from upcoming record New Material
Canadian post-punks Preoccupations have announced new record New Material and shared storming lead single "Espionage".
The record is Preoccupations' second (following 2016's self-titled offering) but technically their third if you count the 2015 album as Viet Cong. It was self-recorded with Justin Meldal-Johnson (M83, Wolf Alice) mixing the results.
"It’s an ode to depression," says the band’s Matt Flegel. "To depression and self-sabotage, and looking inward at yourself with extreme hatred."
Preoccupations have a bunch of North American and European tour dates booked for spring and summer, including shows in London, Ramsgate, and Leeds in June. Find out more.
