PJ Harvey confirmed as first Øya 2016 headliner
Øya Festival has announced PJ Harvey as its first headliner for 2016.
Jason Isbell has also been announced for the Norwegian event.
PJ Harvey is set to have a blinding year, with a new LP on the way and some high-calibre festival slots confirmed.
Last month a huge list of stellar names were unveiled for Øya: Jamie xx (UK), M83 (FR), Foals (UK), Chvrches (UK), Lush (UK), Ane Brun (NO), Aurora (NO), Stormzy (UK), Neurosis (US), Biosphere (NO), Beach Slang (US), Dagny (NO), Gundelach (NO), Okay Kaya (NO), Frøkedal & Familien (NO), Band Of Gold (NO), Electric Eye (NO), and Erlend Ropstad (NO).
Øya 2016 takes place 9-13 August, at Oslo's Tøyenparken. We went to this year's spectacular event - read what we thought.
