New York based experimental artist Pharmakon has shared details of her new album via the form of a rather bleak teaser trailer.
A concept album of sorts and inspired behind Pharmakon’s (real name Margaret Chardiet) recent surgery which left her bed bound, Bestial Burden is described as “a harrowing collection of deeply personal industrial noise tracks, each one brimming with struggle and weighted with the intensity of internal conflict.”
A cheery listen all round, then.
Bestial Burden is set to be released through Sacred Bones on 13 October which will coincide with a support slot on tour with the aggressively wonderful Swans.
