Lucy Dacus shares cover of Wham!'s "Last Christmas"
Lucy Dacus has shared a cover of Wham!'s "Last Christmas", the penultimate single to be released from her 2019 EP.
Dacus' cover of "Last Christmas" arrives after last month's cover of Phil Collins' "In The Air Tonight".
Speaking about her latest cover, Dacus says, "I don't really like Christmas. In the studio, we listened to the original of "Last Christmas" and didn't talk about an arrangement. I just told everyone to play it angry. This is what happened first take. It actually came out pretty fun, maybe a tad psychotic."
Other singles released from Dacus' 2019 EP include Bruce Springsteen's "Dancing In The Dark" for The Boss' birthday, "Forever Half Mast", "My Mother & I" and her cover of Edith Piaf’s "La Vie En Rose".
